Rankin out for the rest of the season

With all the positives over the weekend Martin Allen was forced to recieve the bad news this morning that one of his players will be missing for the final two and potentially playoff games for Brentford.

Allen said,

"Isaiah Rankin will have an operation on a tear on his cartliage tomorrow and will be out for a month."

"Therefore his season is now over."

With two games left in the season Allen was hoping to use the experience of the former Arsenal man to help his side build on their excellent season so far.

"Isaiah plays a very important part in our team and of course that is a big blow.

He did say however,

"But now the oppertunity will be presented to somebody else to make their mark."
