Following the departure of Martin Allen, the fortunes of Paul Brooker have been turned around completely.

At the end of last season the midfielder was placed on the transfer list, but after a pre season as a major part of Rosenior's starting team, the midfielder has been involved in all three of Brentford's League games.

As soon as he arrived Rosenior removed Brooker from the transfer list and now believes that he can be a key player for the club this season,

"When I arrived at Brentford, Paul Brooker was a player who was lacking in confidence."

"We need to draw that back into him"

Rosenior believes that after a year at Brentford as a bit part player the former Reading man can be highly influencial this season,

"Confidence is the most impirtant aspect of the game for a wide player, but Paul is a vital part of my squad."

"It's nice to have two genuine wide players at the club in Paul and Gavin Tomlin" he added.
