Rosenior hails Bees fighting spirit

With yesterday's win firmly behind them and a trip to Northmampton in the week for their second fixture of the season Leroy Rosenior seems happy with life so far.

Some excellent performances graced Griffin Park yesterday and the manager revealed his delight that finally the waiting was over,

"It's been a long summer," he said,

"I'm relieved to get that first game out of the way. We looked nervous and apprehensive in the first half but we upped the tempo as the game went on and stopped giving the ball away."

He selected Oli Skulason out yesterday after the game for his comeback performance and winning goal but today he spoke of his delight to Clark Masters, debutant goalkeeper, who kept the Bees in the game yesterday,

"Obviously Clark Masters' debut will make all the headlines and deservedly so. Just as importantly I thought our work ethic was good but in the first half I didn't think we played that well. If I was Blackpool I would be disappointed not to have come out with anything."

The manager finished by saying,

"Obviously we will not be resting on our lorrels and I believe there is much more to come from this team"
