With his bees side sitting near the summit of the League at the moment, there is no happier man around the training ground than Leroy Rosenior.

"It's nice to prove people wrong." said the boss

Two wins and a battling 2-2 draw at Brighton mean Brentford are one of only a handful of unbeaten sides in League One and the Bees gaffer admitted he has been delighted by the start his side has made,

"I know a lot of fans have come into the new season with trepidation, but we have a lot of players out there who will work their socks off and give everything," he told the club's official website.

"In the first two games we got our first home win our first away win, our first home clean sheet and our first away clean sheet - you can't really ask for more than that.

"I'm very pleased with the attitude of the players, but it's early days and we're not going to get carried away."

After lavishing praise on Chris Moore after his goal against Northampton and his late strike against Brighton the boss has completemented the way that Moore and Gavin Tomlin have fitted into the Brentford side,

"I didn't think they would be in the side at this stage."

"They have a lot to work on, but they have worked extremely hard and, when things haven't been going for them, their attitude has been spot-on."

The Brentford boss also admitted to teamtalk.com that he is looking to bring in new players,

"We are still looking to bring in players - but they need to be the right ones."

He also confirmed that talks had been held this week between himself and Kevin O'Connor and Andrew Frampton, the pair whose contracts run out at the end of the season, he however stated there had been 'nothing to report'.
