Brentford boss Leroy Rosenior was hit this morning with a Football League charge relating to his conduct during the game against Luton in the League Cup last week.

The bees boss escaped punishment relating to his post match comments which questioned the performance of referee Clive Penton but the Football Association today have charged the boss under 'Rule E3' which relates to using abusive and/or insulting words to a match official.

Rosenior was highly critical of the referee following the sending off of Chris Moore and the failiure of the officials to award several questionable decisions. Leroy has until 7th October to respond to the charge and if found guilt he could be hit with a touchline ban of three games.
