Rosenior looking forward to Forest League test

Despite being knocked out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Tuesday by Nottingham Forest, Brentford manager Leroy Rosenior said he was delighted with the performance of his team in the first of two matches at the City Ground this week.

With Brentford 1-0 up, Forest showed their quality and pulled the game back from the brink in the second half. The Bees showing was far better than several of the performances which have seen them fail to win in eleven games in a row but Rosenior insisted he was only looking for positives to go into the weekend's game with,

"We knew it would be difficult against Forest but we were a lot more positive and disciplined and can take heart from our performance,"

"Although you never like losing, I was pleased with the overall display. "

Ahead of the game on Saturday Rosenior said he would be looking for a reaction to the defeat against Oldham at the weekend,

"We had some work to do after losing at Oldham on Saturday and everyone knew what was expected of them because we had to be more organised and determined.

"The lads who came back into the side showed a good attitude and you are looking for a reaction when you kick players up the backside and leave them out."
