In the middle of another tough week the Brentford manager Leroy Rosenior seemed somewhat happy with yesterday performance than his sides scetchy display at the weekend against Chesterfield.

Slightly the better of the two competing sides Brentford could feel slightly hard done by not to have won last nights game but Rosenior seemed greatful that his side put in a performance more in keeping with their start to the season,

"After Saturday's performance I asked the lads to restore some pride because we didn't come away from Chesterfield with much pride in our performance."

"As the game went on I thought we got in some great situations and while they put us under pressure they didnt create many chances"

Rosenior continued to praise his side and felt they were slightly unfortunate not to have claimed all three points,

"We got into some good positions and to be fair I think we had the best chances. We could have nicked it but the important thing was to restore some pride amonst themselves and the supporters and we achieved that."

Leroy also heaped praise on his young players who clearly responded to his comments on Saturday,

"I'm dissapointed with the goal, it was sloppy but with young players you often get that. But I also told them I'm not going to treat them like kids anymore. They've got to bne grown men out there and they showed that tonight. They gave it their best shot and thats what I asked them to do."

"Scott Fitzgerald who was stood behind me chucked, "That's last years youth team out there", I hope that this shows how much they have grown and I hope this goes a long way to their development as first team players. They've not made it yet but if they keep performing at a high level I have no problems with playing them as many games as the experienced players."
