Rosenior takes blame for loss

Now four games without a win it appears that Brentford may be in a for a long and hard season. Unbeaten until two weeks ago the club have now lost to Swansea, Luton and Chesterfield in three of their last four games.


Leroy Rosenior the Brentford manager refused to blame his sides youthful out look despite admitting that they did play 'like kids' in the first half,

"We played like a bunch of kids. We lost our way as soon as we went a goal down."

"But I take full responsibility for that and I will back my young players because they have been great so far this season."

"It is the first time we have let ourselves down. We need to make sure it's the only time we do that."

With the squad much reshaped from the previous two seasons excellent finishes Rosenior admits that Brentford need to get going or face a season of struggles,

"We just stopped playing but it is a bit too early for some of our youngsters. They looked jaded mentally at half-time but they have just got to grow up."
