Coming back from a goal behind twice, Brentford will be very pleased that they managed to come away with a point from this afternoon's away game against a pumped up Rotherham side.

Deservedly behind in the game twice Brentford were saved by Owusu and Rankin and the whole team battled hard to get a point to add to their promotion chase tally. Luckily once more for the bees their rivals for an automatic or playoff place(s) slipped up once more leaving the bees once more with their fate in their own hands.

What the manager said?
Martin Allen was cheery despite his sides 2-2 draw,

"At the end of the day it was a point gained"

"It's just another point to add to our tally. The team worked hard and I think the work they put in today fully deserved a good result."

He was pleased with his sides work ethic and praised his sides attacking qualities,

"I asked one or two to step up before the game and they certainly did that. Our fighting spirit was excellent throughout and it was nice to see us taking our chances."

What the players said?
Isiash Rankin felt that his side prehaps deserved more from the game,

"Despite being behind twice I think we had enough chances to win the game. It was never going to be an easy task coming away from home but I thought we put in an excellent performance"

Captain Ricky Newman also had some thoughts on the game,

"We had some excellent points of pressure throughout the game but we just couldnt get our final ball sorted today."

"The whole team played excellently and we were well worth a point"

What the fans said?
Bees fans supported the team tremendousely again and a few spoke after the game. One John Magson said,

"We're disapointed with the draw but it could have been much worse"

"The team is starting to get a bit leggy and the end of the season can't come too soon"

Rotherham fan Jo Selby said,

"We got in Brentford's faces and made things difficult for them today. I think that we probably deserved three ponts today but a point has definately helped us."
