Rotherham boss believes 'bees could slip up'

Saturday's game will not secure Brentford promotion and it will not relegate opponents Rotherham however it will go a long way to deciding the fate of both battling clubs as they fight at respective ends of the table for a resuloution to their current plight.


Brentford have five games left to gain a place in the Championship next season, with Huddersfield, Swansea and Colchester chasing hard behind the Bees are looking for maximum points to help secure an automatic finish this season behing Southend.

Rotherham however are in the mire at the bottom of the table, haunted by relegation to League Two boss Alan Knill looked to find some positives from his sides recent performances going into the weekend's cruch games,

"We've collected maximum points from three of our last four home games so that is a positive"

Believing that the pressure at the top may get to Brentford he commented,

"Brentford's recent slump is proof they are beginning to feel the jitters"

"Theres a few teams at the top starting to feel it a bit. I know Martin will have his side well-prepared and they are direct and physical but our home form has been excellent of late"

He urged his players to do the club proud in beating Brentford saying,

"Crucially, we know that staying in this division is in our own hands and we need to continue picking up points. The players have certainly risen to the challenge and this weekend will be no different."
