Rovers Investigation Ended

After a three month period of investigation, the club were delighted to announce today that the FA have closed the investigation into an incident which took place 12th April 2005 where it was alleged that a Tranmere Rovers player had been racially abused by a section or member of the Brentford crowd.

The Football Assosiation had spoken to several members of the Brentford FC community as well as many fans but the outcome was that the clubs stewarding, during the game and since was more than satisfactory.

The FA also appluded Brentford on their zero tollerance towards racism in the game and especially around their stadia.

The club would now like to draw a line under the incident once and for all but also commented that should this kind of thing be rumoured to be happening again, a full investigation will once more be conducted.
