Skulason concentrating on bees

Ahead of this weekends game against Gillingham, the Brentford squad have been put through their paces to try and get their first win in seven and stop a rot which has seen them slip to the lower reaches of the table.

With several of the bees players coming back from injury, training has been rather fragmented this week as Rosenior has tried to get his key players back to 100% ahead of a tough schedule which could be 'do or die' in Brentford campaign.

One such player looking to return build up his fitness and help the bees cause is Oli Skulason who revealed that he is ready to help Brentford through their current strife, even if that means missing chances to represent his country,

"It was a real boost to be picked for the Iceland squad, but it is not something I am really thinking about at the moment," he said.

"I just want to get a good level of match fitness, and hopefully that will improve with every game."
