Sodje moves a step closer to Brentford exit

Brentford could be facing a complete change around in defense ahead of the new season as reports this evening suggest that Sam Sodje still wants out of the club after two successive failed promotions.

This follows the news that Michael Turner is set to be signed by Hull City and comes as a huge blow as boss Rosenior plots his gameplan ahead of the new season.

Since failing to go up last year Sodje has stated his ambition to play at a higher level and with Jay Tabb achieving that dream signing for Coventry the same fate could also grab Sodje. Revelations surrounding the defender have suggested that a move will take place for the Nigerian before the start of the season, that is of course if he can be found.
AWOL from training this week reports suggest that he is still in Nigeria, fueling reports that he and his agent are trying to construct a move to another club.

Sodje's agent had claimed that Martin Allen has given an extra week off because of his difficult schedule over the past season, Allen however has denied there reports.
