Sam Sodje spoke to the press today regarding rumours that he is set for a move away from Griffin Park.

The tall Nigerian repeated once again that he is happy to stay with the League One side but would not count out a move away from Griffin Park.

He also spoke regarding the situation with his manager saying,

"I thank the gaffer for his patience as I was regularly late early on and also the faith he showed in me with the disciplinary record I brought with me"

For his previous club Margate of the Conference Sodje was sent off four times and saw Martin Allen's decision to buy him as a potentially risky one,

"I'm pleased the boss brought me in, his belief in me inspired me to play well throughout the year, I believe that he has been my strongest influence in football and I'd like to continue my partnership working under him as long as is possible"
