"We really were made to work for the victory today but I thought it was an excellent game to play in and also a great game to watch even though it probably wasn't the greatest spectacle."

"I was pleased to get on the scoresheet today but I think all of the lads preformed excellently, paticularily after we went a goal down. We showed tremendous spirit not to let it get to us and keep trying until we were ahead."

Stuart Nelson also commented,

"Stockport gave us an excellent game today, we expected an effort for them as that is usual in the FA Cup but I think maybe we still under estimated them"

What the fans said?

Jack Johnson a Stockport fan felt that his side should have done better,

"We were unlucky, the second goal was 6 inches over apparently and we should have had a penalty in the second half. We also hit the bar in the second half, I think it's fair to say there were lucky"

Rachel Adams a travelling Brentford fan said,

"No doubt we rode our luck today but overall our class showed through in the end"

"They had some chances and they pushed us but at best it was a replay, both sides had claims for victory"
