Brentford Callum Willock has had an up and down season like most of his counterparts in the West London clubs squad. Booed by his own fans and transfer listed at the start of the season, the performances and hard work of the player have now begun to win over the most sceptical of supporters.

Speaking to the official website this morning, Callum Willock followed his manager and captain Kevin O'Connor in talking up the chances of his clubs survival hopes despite their lowly position and seven point gap to safety,

"We're working hard and although it's not quite coming off for us at the moment, I'm confident it will."

Willock continued,

"I think we've started to play really well in recent weeks and it's show people that we are a good team and we are in a false position"

Speaking ahead of the weekend's game against Leyton Orient, the forward believes that their previous experience against fellow relegation battlers will hold them in good stead,

"Orient have some dangerous players, and will certainly hake it hard for us. The game in September was a real physical battle and I expect this game to be no different."

"We all have our individual jobs to do and we have to make sure we do them, we have nineteen games left and we need to start getting some points on the board"

Callum admitted that being at the bottom of the table clearly puts increased pressure on everyone but believes that his side are well equipted to deal with the added burden of expectation,

"At times we've felt the pressure and maybe even caved into it. But when you start doing that you start making the most basic of mistakes and we have to avoid that."

"But we're feeling more confident now, looking to build on the last home win, and I'm looking forward to getting out there on Saturday."
