A Bees side made up of mainly reserves and trialists lost 3-1 at Sutton United.

 
Sutton scored in the 32^nd minute courtesy of Craig Watkins. Eight minutes later, Watkins missed the chance to double his tally when he missed two penalties (the referee ordered a retake as he insisited Masters' had moved before the original spot kick, which he saved) the 2nd, Watkins' blasted his effort into the post.

In the second half, Warren McBean doubled Sutton's lead in the 67^th minute. Two minutes later, Charlie Ide latched on to a through ball from trialist Jason Karaca to net Bees' goal.

Sutton wrapped up the game in the 84^th minute when McBean scored again.
