Talbot to make Boston move

Talbot set to leave the Bees, but who will be our next captain?
With worrying news this morning that Sam Sodje could still be on his way out of Brentford, heading for a whole host of clubs towards the upper limits of the League structure. The Bees could yet be about to lose another player just fourty days before the beginning of the football season.


Accorinding to reports from BBC Lincolnshire The Pilgrims of League Two could be about to sign Brentford Captain Stewart Talbot.

It had widely been expected that the Midfielder was set to leave after asking Martin Allen for a transfer to move back to his native North of England home but the fact that Allen's squad is about to get smaller yet again could worry Brentford fans.

The deal became clear after Boston manager Steven Evens revealed he was set to sign a League One player on Friday, the club have now announced that Talbot is the man they have targeted.

Talbot at 32 made 49 appearances last season as the Bees reached the playoffs and Allen said,

"He has been a fantastic captain, but his family life is most important and I have given him the oppertunity to move back North by granting him a free transfer"
