After the frustrating 0-0 easter monday draw with United, we hear the after game reactions.

What the squad said....?

Martin Allen was obviously dissapointed with the 0-0 scoreline but refused to blame the players, speaking to the official website he said,

"Legs looked a bit heavy out there today, it was as though the players were trying to hard, im not blaming them though, all credit to the opposition who put us a strong resistance, we couldnt seem to break them down"

He also added,

"Ok, so you could say that we had a couple cleared off the line but over all we really didnt do enough to win the game, infact it was pretty even in terms of posession, the players had to battle hard and im pleased with their performance"

Deon Burton said,

"The boys played well today and stuck at the task although united made it very tough for us, they came with a game plan and stuck to it, we had nothing to break them down with, although the boys are mightily dissapointed, we take it as a point gained not two lost.

Scott Fitzgerald also spoke after the game saying,

"Their defense was terribly difficult to break down, we just didnt have the killer pass today that we usual have, the players looked physically drained at the end, we wanted to win so badly but theres still enough games to get us into the playoffs, we've had our two slip ups now its time for 7 or 8 great results."

What the 'experts' said.....?

BBC.co.uk - were impressed by the defensive work of United and said that the Bees lacked ideas and inspiration.

Teamtalk.com - commented that the game was fairly even and neither aide did enough to win really

ESPNsports.com - said that Brentford looked comfortable throughout but couldnt find a way past a wall of blue jerseys

Griffinpark.org - Didnt seem to be too impressed by the scoreline commenting that if we have intentions of reaching league 1 we must win home games against teams like this, yet to decide who was man of the match
