Tigers target Turner

With the departure of Jay Tabb already clouding over the beginning of the season for Brentford it appears that his might not be the only transfer battle which Leroy Rosenior has to fight.

Michael Turner has been identified by Hull as an ideal player to replace Leon Cort who followed outgoing manager Peter Taylor to Crystal Palace. With no news on Turner's contract as yet it appears that Rosenior may have a battle on his hands if the club recieves a decent bid from the Championship club.

Parkinson who managed Colchester to promotion last season has seen Turner first hand who following an excellent season was named as most improved player for Brentford last year.

Turner's defensive partner Sodje is also wanted by clubs in the Championship and Premiership and it is presumed that Rosenior will not be able to keep both because of the delicate financial situation at the club.
