Today Brentford boss Martin Allen continued his week of making changes to the West London club ahead of next season's League One campaign.

On the official website Martin today announced that Marcus Gayle has agreed a new one year deal at Griffin Park as his pay as you play contract was set to run out on June 30th.

The boss said,

"Marcus needs a good pre season to get back to full fitness and next year he will give us versatility, experience and something you can't buy. That is, he loves Brentford Football Club."

Allen was also pleased to announce that he'd agreed a deal with Chelsea for a young player Sam Tillen who he'd been watching during his spells watching his reserves play Chelsea's reserves.

"Sam's got pace, he's left footed and i've signed him on a one-year contract with an option for a second year" Allen said.

"He has played for England at all sorts of different age groups, but that's in his past and it's what he is going to do next season is what is going to interest me and our fans, I have full confidence that he will have a part to play"
