Tillen signs contract extension

News on signings for Brentford fans is a bit short at the moment, however fans recieved good news today as a current player, Sam Tillen agreed to take the option up on his contract.

Former manager Martin Allen took Tillen on from Chelsea during one of his frequent sightings of the reserve team of the Blues last year however Allen decided in his time not to extend Tillens stay beyond the original one year the club agreed with the players.

Rosenior however sees the potential in Tillen who represented England against Italy in a side managed by Peter Taylor. Sam played nearly thirty times for the club last season and was a major reason behinds the Bees great defensive record and worked hard on his game throughout the season to become one of the first names on the team sheet for the club.

Leroy Rosenior also announced today that he will be discussing deals with several other players, namely Sam Sodje, Kevin O'Connor and Michael Turner.
