Going into a crucial game this weekend against Rotherham at Griffin Park, Scott Fitzgerald urged his players to show the supporters that they are as passionate about staying up as those off the pitch are.

Speaking to the official website this morning, Sam Tillen backed his managers calls for Brentford to show fighting spirit and said,

"We've been unlucky at times, things seem to have gone against us"

The defender refused to make excuses for the clubs recent defeats but said,

"There's no lack of confidence in the side. Games like the Scunthorpe one, we created plenty of chances but were unable to take them and instead of winning we ended up on the wrong end of the result."

Tillen also warned that despite Rotherham being up against it this weekend being the bottom side and playing away from home, Brentford will not be taking the game light heartedly,

"Every game is a must win now and we know that."

"There's no difference in the way we'll set up for this game, whether your playing top teams or bottom teams at this stage of the season. We need to get on the front foot, work hard and take the game to them."

"The team will continue to fight for every point available - we all believe that we can get out of trouble."
