Transfer rumours: Araujo race hots up, Liverpool in for Dybala

Manchester City are interested in signing Ronald Araujo from Real Madrid after contract talks stalled, but they will face competition from Chelsea with Thomas Tuchel a big fan of the defender.

Manchester United have also been mentioned as a possible destination for the centre-back, who looks set to be the subject of a transfer tug of war in the summer.

Araujo is not the only defender linked with United this morning either. Juventus' Matthijs de Ligt is another potential target.

The Red Devils are looking to revamp their midfield too and long-term targets Declan Rice, Kalvin Phillips and Amadou Haidara are all being touted for moves to Old Trafford.

In worrying news for Arsenal fans, Bukayo Saka could be poached away from the Emirates Stadium if the Gunners do not manage to secure Champions League football. We mentioned Man City's interest yesterday, but Liverpool could also be ready to swoop in.

Over in the continent, Juventus could go shopping for another forward at the end of the season despite only just signing Dusan Vlahovic. The Bianconeri are still interested in a permanent move for Alvaro Morata, and they are hoping to convince Atletico Madrid to drop their €35m asking price.

Liverpool could also follow suit be adding another forward a few months after their own high-profile signing. The Reds are rumoured to be considering a move for Paulo Dybala, but Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal are in the race too.

1990s football fans will no doubt remember Danny Cadamarteri and his son Bailey Cadamarteri could be about the become a household name too. Man City, West Ham and Brentford are all showing an interest in the Sheffield Wednesday youngster.

From one starlet to another, 15-year-old Palmeiras striker Endrick has admitted that all Brazilian kids dream of moving to Barcelona. Real and Barca are currently battling it out for his signature alongside several Premier League clubs.
