Voting polls - Thanks for voting in last weeks poll we held to determine who Bees fans thought had been their best player this season, in second place was Stuart Talbot with 7.5% however the winner by a long shot was Sam Sodje who 52.8% of people thought had been our star performer this season. It hard to disagree with that vote as Sam has been voted in the League One team of the week 9 times and was also selectd in March as evening standard's player of the month, beating off the likes of Lampard and Henry.

Coca-cola football - Still ploughing along nicely is the Coca Cola win a player competition, currently Brentford sit 20th in the league table with 7926 votes which is a great tally. The table is still topped by Leeds United who have a massive 111,865 votes. Keep your votes coming in as even if the Bees don't win you could still claim yourself 10k.

Allen speaks of disapointment - Martin Allen today expressed his disappointment after yesterday's game was called off.

After making the long trip admitted that he backed the ref's decision but was still disapointed that no play took place.

"I had no idea the game was in doubt until I arrived at the ground. I was called into the referee's room along with Wrexham's manager Denis Smith, and the referee stated quite clearly that the ball would not be able to flow freely and that the area in question would be a danger to the players safety.

"The referee has decisions to make and they have to be respected. Of course it was disappointing for everybody involved and especially disappointing for our supporters who had made the trip."
