Jay Tabb was delighted with his goal and after a great performance vs Southampton in mid-week the midfielder believes that he can keep up continue to impress consistantly for the rest of the season.

New signing Scott Fitzgerald was also bubbling after his first game believeing that he made a good choice to join the bees on a short term loan also believing that they have the quality to make championship in their current vain of form.

www.bbc.co.uk - a very short match report hinted that brentford were lucky after having their bar struck twice but commended keeper Nelson on his performance after making several good saves including an injury time stop from the opposition keeper.

www.beesotted.com - congratulated Martin Allen on the capture of Fitzgerald who fitted right into the side. He also said Allen's tactics were perfect and felt that even though the bees were lucky they deserved at least something out of the game because of the hard work and effort they put in.
