How the new club shop 'should' look
Reported today on the official website is the story of Brenford FC behind the scences during the 'close season'.

The club is preparing for the new season with tremendous work going into modernising and improving facilities for supporters as we push for a place in the championship next season.

Griffin Park and it's surrounding area are set to be transformed in time for the big kick off on August 6th.

Along with essential work on the pitch to acomodate both ourselves and London Broncho's next year, the groundsman are working hard to make te surface playable long into next May and also make sure it stands up to the test of the awful English weather in January and february (and sometimes March and April!)

The Princess Royal which is the 'official' supporters pub is getting a complete renovation and the old 'Princess Royal' is being turned into the clubs brand new Brentford FC store (pictured above).

The grand opening of the club will take place before the Andy Scott Benefit game on the 20th July. Our first home game before we play Leyton Orient.

The proposal of a brand new ticketing system and the aquasition, which we told you a couple of weeks ago, of a new clubs telephone service. The upto date service will be more organised and will attempt to keep the fans more in touch with the club.

The appointment of the new chief executive have allowed staff such as Martin Allen be able to concentrate of matters concerning the football pitch only, however Allen and Finch have been discussing some big plans which will hopefully be implimented next season.

As the club looks to improve it's match day facilities and improve the experience for home and visiting supporters and finally bring the club into the 21st century.

Hopefully over the next few days we will be able to bring you news of the clubs new kit and what the club is calling, 'a very special offer for Bees fans'.

This may well present the fans an oppertunity to name the Princess Royal, as it is a pub for the fans, the club would like suggestions of what to call the 'new' water hole!

Keep checking back for updates...
