"It's not the end of the world" said Martin Allen after his clubs defeat to Yeading at the Warren tonight, however it is disturbing to some fans and backroom staff that the team three divisions higher than the home side were brushed aside so easily.

Even in the very first minute warning signs were clear as a Clark Masters was stood watching a ball rebound of his post, however from the resulting goal kick Brentford nearly scored with a chance from Paul Brooker narrowling missing the target.

Yeading took the lead in the eleventh minute when Errol Telemaque's header beat Masters. The home side doubled their lead five minutes later with a goal from Nevin Saroya, a former Bees, who converted a penalty given away by Michael Turner.

The Bees simply couldnt find the net as first Sodje, then Rankin and Dobson went close with efforts which in any other normal game may have found the net.

Brentford finally did find the net as Lloyd Owusu scored off a centre from Dobson. Eddie Hutchinson was then denied twice by the bar in a matter of seconds.

Former Yeading star DJ Camobell, captain for the night was largely anonamous, playing a role slightly off the front man, he did more setting up than chance taking, though he nearly scored a wonder goal, only to be denied by an equally fine save by the goalkeeper.

At the other end Dobson was then fouled however a bad decision from the referee left several players out of position and allowed the home side to take a 3-1 lead, though Brentford pressed hard, Yeading held firm and the game ended in a defeat.
