Allen in no rush to ditch bees for pastures new

After rumours of Allen taking up the vacant position at Leicester City during the transfer window died down by his frank rejection of such talk the boss spoke today about gis enjoyment for his current job but also about the future in terms of managing at a higher level.

Since taking the job two years ago and reaching the playoffs last season Allen has always said that if he reaches the higher level he wishes to be at his current club though he once more declared himself to be delighted with the position he holds at Brentford,

"I have not been in management a long time, and I don't want to be a five-minute wonder. If my day comes, it will be wonderful."

"But I have a terrific group of people at Brentford - the type of people you do not always find. I enjoy my job, and I love working with my players and staff.

"I just concentrate on what I'm doing, and I'm happy - which is the most important thing in life."
